THE ONE WRENCH SOLUTION
Why do you need 3-5 Allen wrenches to install parts onto your bike? Simple. Because no one has bothered to make all the different bolts so they use the same size wrench - until now. Imagine mounting your stem, cranks, pedals, levers, shifters, and wheels with one nearly strip-proof T-30 Torx wrench. This is the TEK30 standard.

Nothing could be simpler than one wrench for your entire bike, whether you’re a installing handlebars, fixing a flat, or adjusting your seatpost. That’s the beauty of the TEK30 standard.
STRENGTH
The Torx interace is much less prone to stripping than an allen. We chose the T-30 size because it’s the largest and strongest Torx interface that we could fit into an M5 bolt head.
ACCESSIBILITY
When you’re on the trail or at the races, you need to have your wrenches handy since there are always adjustment and repairs. With TEK30, you will only need one T-30 wrench.

TORX VS. ALLEN
Diving into the Numbers
The T-30 Torx interface has a torque limit that is 3 times higher than a 5mm allen interface and almost 2 times higher than a 6mm allen.

A T-30 interface wrench has almost 50% more surface area than a 5mm allen wrench and over 30% more than a 6mm allen wrench.
The corner angle on an allen wrench is 60 degrees. The splines on a Torx are 15 degrees and they are far less likely to strip than an allen.
The TEK30 concept was developed by a small group of riders and designers in an effort to simplify and streamline cycling assembly and maintenance.
